Marc Janko signed until 2015
Marc Janko has signed a contract with FC Porto this Tuesday, for three and a half years. The Austrian striker settled the agreement in the Vienna Room, city where he was born, at the Estádio do Dragão. Chairman Pinto da Costa and General Director Antero Henrique were present at the event.
FC Porto is now the holder of the sporting and economic rights of the athlete, and the trade cost 3 million euros. Janko now has a release fee of 20 million euros.
Marc Janko is 28 years old, 1,96 meters tall, and weighs 93 kilos; he played in Twente, Netherlands, is an Austrian international and will play for FC Porto until the Summer of 2015.
“It is a great honour to play for this club and I hope to help win many titles, that is what I’m here for, and I want to help with goals”, the player said.
“The club has a fantastic history, with many titles. I saw the final of the Europa League, last year, it was an amazing victory”, stated Janko for the FC Porto website. |
