André Villas-Boas: «We need to maintain discipline»
 The result is a strong one, but the play-off is yet to be concluded. This is André Villas-Boas’ opinion, declaring that FC Porto has to maintain the same attitude so as to close this round at home on a positive note.
Significant but not decisive
«This was the first step that we had to take in pursuit of our overall goal of winning. It is indeed a significant score but by no means a safe one. The Genk strikers move well on the field. The team demands accuracy and creates difficulties. We have to maintain discipline in order to win the second play-off. »
Worthy win and praise for Helton
«We took advantage of the sending-off in order to kill the game. We managed to build opportunities that increased the score to 3-0, a worthy result. Our goalkeeper had an excellent game. We could have controlled the game in a different manner, after the 1-0 score, and when working to score the second goal, we were somewhat cautious. »
Dedicated to Hulk
«Hulk will decide when he best feels comfortable to return. The club wants him to swiftly heal from this difficult phase. This victory is dedicated to him because he is currently going through a tough time. Our condolences go out to him and his family. » |
