«What’s important is to maintain the rhythm»
After the meeting with Beira-Mar (3-0 victory), André Villas-Boas highlighted the excellence of FC Porto’s performance in the second-half of the game. According to Belluschi, FC Porto’s efforts have enabled such positive rewards.
André Villas-Boas: «From the moment the team found its play after the changes made, we settled down in the game and demonstrated our ability. Given the limitation in the wings, the adjustment was understood and made clear, but after half-time this situation improved and we managed to finish with an excellent performance. It's always good to return home and sit on the bench which means a lot to me, but all we were eager for was to win and head the league table as soon as possible. It's still too early in the championship, but the most important thing is to continue on the path of victories. What matters is that we continue at this pace until the team stops for the national side games. »
Belluschi: «Things are going a lot better for me than they did last year, I'm very keen and everything is not only going well for the team, but also for me which is my utmost priority. We were expecting to reap these rewards because we have indeed worked very hard to obtain them. We must, however, continue to improve, because there are always things to set right. I always try to score, I have been lucky enough to score attractive goals, but the most important thing is to score and help the team. » |
