30/01/2012 "If you want to order the ribbons..."
At the end of the match in Barcelos, Vítor Pereira explained the defeat in an open and simple manner. Without excusing the performance of the team, in an apathy that doesn't give the image of the champion, and not forgetting to congratulate Gil Vicente, the coach stated that the refereeing was a disgrace, numbering the reasons for that consideration.
Apathy "This defeat is very easy to resume: our terrible first-half, where we showed apathy unworthy of those who want to win the league again, and a second-half where we tried to react, but with a two goal disadvantage and conceding the third goal on the beginning of the second time; after that, we reacted, but mainly with our heart."
Shameful Refereeing "One thing has to be said: what I saw today was a disgrace. If they want to order the ribbons right away, if they want to carry the other team on their shoulders, do it. Our team played bad, Gil Vicente was worthy and the referee team was shameful. It was shameful, and the only team that deserves to be praised is Gil Vicente. There were two penalties for us and the assistant referee missed the off-side that ended in a penalty against us." |
