Ordos: FC Porto wins super final
FC Porto won the Super Final in the Chinese round of the Superleague Formula, held last Sunday in Ordos. The FC Porto car, piloted by Earl Bamber in the absence of Álvaro Parente, got third and twelfth place in the two heats, thus qualifying for the overall decisive race and, after several incidents, reached the highest place on the podium.
FC Porto currently holds ninth place in the Superleague Formula overall classification.
«I started off the weekend as a commentator and I finished it on the podium. It's crazy. It was a very positive experience because I learned a lot and it was very rewarding to return to racing with the Superleague Formula. The cars are a real challenge when we want to take them to their limits. The Super Final was one of the best races I have ever been involved in. » concluded Earl Bamber, visibly pleased. |
