Somos Porto distinguished at Prémios Sapo 2011
The project Somos Porto (We are Porto), developed by FC Porto in association with the advertisement agency A Transformadora/comOn, was chosen as the Best Plan of Integrated Means at the ceremony of the Prémios Sapo 2011, that, last Thursday night, distinguished 31 online announcers.
The platform Somos Porto, designed to bring together FC Porto and its fans, has already given the star-status to the users through videos that took them inside the Estádio do Dragão, has offered more than 10.000 tickets for the matches of the national champions and keeps on providing unique experiences to winners of quizzes.
The response of the users to Somos Porto has led to amazing results: more than half a million visits in 25 days, more than 100.000 videos created and over 80.000 contestants in the quizzes. The numbers only grew with the creation of the English and Spanish versions of the site, which registered a massive request by visitors from abroad, proving the international dimension of FC Porto.
