Talent that can’t be measured
Paulo Henrique Soares dos Santos, known to football as Paulinho, came to FC Porto to strengthen the midfield of the team led by Sérgio Conceição. At the age of 23, the small Brazilian, 1.66 meters tall and 58 kilograms, arrives at the Dragons on a loan, with the club having a buy option at the end of the season. A lefty, the new number 6 has creativity and fighting spirit as his main weapons, and those will be, above all else, what he will use to stand out against the strong competition.

Considered the best player of the Second League last season, contributing with nine goals to the triumphant path of the team led by Vítor Oliveira, Paulinho kept the same level when called to play among the best, showing speed, anticipation and vision in the last pass. These were, in fact, the features he highlighted about himself in the first statements as an FC Porto player: “I think I can add quality to the pass, especially for goal”, he stated.
Formed in Bahia, the Brazilian team from Salvador, where he played in all teams up to the senior squad, Paulinho arrived in Europe through Spain, where he started playing for Cordoba (2012/13). After that, he moved to Cadiz and Eldense, and, already in Portugal, the midfielder played for Beira-Mar, Farense, and Portimonense, the club he fought for in the last season and a half.
