Brahimi, the MVP: “Nine finals to go”

Algerian winger was named the man of the match in the classic against Sporting (2-1)

Brahimi was named MVP in the classic opposing FC Porto and Sporting, for matchday 25 of Liga NOS, which ended with a blue and white victory, by 2-1. The Algerian winger scored the second goals for the Dragons, 49 minutes in, and was decisive for the outcome of the match. Despite the solid advantage in the Championship, the number 8 wants the team to remain united and working as they have so far, as they have still won nothing.

Finals to win
“This is an important victory and we got three more points. There are nine finals left to play and we have to win all of them to reach our objective.”

A rival left behind
“Sporting is eight points behind us, but it will still be difficult until the end of the season. We need to keep working as we have so far, together, as we have since the start of the season, and remain strong.”

Happy for the victory
“There are still many matches left to play and I have to do everything I can to help my team reach the objective. I am very happy with this victory, but we need to start thinking of the next match right now.”

Family united
“The union of the group and the way we stand together, on and off the pitch, makes the difference.”
