Over 700 applications for the seminar in Bogotá

The event, held at the Colombian capital city, is a success


The seminar FC Porto is organizing at the auditorium of the Centre for High Performance of the District Institute of Recreation and Sports (Instituto Distrital de Recreacion y Deporte – IDRD), located in Bogotá, capital city of Colombia, under the subject A Methodology of Successes – A Unique Organizational Model and Tactical Periodization is a huge success, with over 700 applications, with attendants coming not only from Bogotá, but also from Medellin and Cali. There are attendants that came from as far as Ecuador just to attend.

The seminar, that reveals some of the secrets for the white and blue sporting success, counts on the participation of Urgel Martins, executive director of the department of football, João Luís Afonso, director for Scouting, Vítor Frade, methodologist, Pablo Sanz, technical coordinator of the Youth Squads, Carlos Campos, technical coordinator of the Dragon Force football schools, and José Conceição, technical coordinator of the Dragon Force school in Bogotá, among others.

They will be joined by hosts Aldo Cadena, the director of IDRD, João Ribeiro de Almeida, the Portuguese ambassador in Colombia, and Ricardo Pérez, director of Colégio Gimnasio del Norte. Among the over 700 applicants, there are football coaches and directors of several Colombian and Ecuadorian clubs, as well as college students studying Sports and several personalities from the world of Sports. The unique organization and methodology of FC Porto have reached Colombia, where the first, and only, for now, international Dragon Force school of football is located.
