The World Camp Dragon Force in South Africa ended with an extremely positive balance and widespread satisfaction from the participants. The program lasted for four days and was based at the Jeppe Quondam Sports Club, in Johannesburg.
With full registrations before the start of the camp, as usual, the World Camp was aimed at 100 young students and 40 coaches. Three FC Porto coaches coordinated the sessions.
“It was a Camp set at a different level. What valued this event the most was the simplicity with which the coaches communicated with the athletes and parents. From planning training to conducting it, everything was done with great rigor and professionalism. The training was notable for its dynamics and fluidity”, José Marques, co-organizer of the World Camp Dragon Force in Johannesburg, stated.
José Marques praised the impact that the program had on each participant: “The youngsters loved the training and the relationship with the coaches. It is also very important to get feedback from the parents, who were very satisfied. There are no doubts that all participants came out richer”.
Some of the parents also wanted to commend the initiative. “Thank you for the opportunity you gave to our champions, an experience they will never forget. I hope to see you next year”, Hugo Gomes stated. Juliette also thanked the experience: “Thank you, José [co-organizer] and all the coaches, it was a great experience. We look forward to future activities”. For Nélson Carneiro, the highlight was the characteristics of the FC Porto coaches: “It was great to see the passion, experience, intensity and new ideas”.
