​​André Silva elected the best young player of Liga NOS in January

Number 10 of the Dragons scored twice in four matches

Forward André Silva was named best young player of Liga NOS in January, winning the poll carried out on the website of Sindicato dos Jogadores Profissionais de Futebol (SJPF), with 14.26% of the votes. The blue and white forward beat the competition of Nélson Semedo (Benfica, 13.25%) and Gelson Martins (Sporting CP, 10.79%).

In January, the Portuguese international star played in four games that the blue and whites had for the main division, scoring two goals: one in the home victory over Moreirense, for Matchday 17, and another in the victory in Estoril (2-1), for matchday 19, in a match where he also made the assist for Corona to score the other goal for FC Porto.

For the award of best young player, all players of Portuguese nationality born after January 1, 1993, are taken into account.
