​​Danilo in the list for Portugal

Fernando Santos called the blue and white midfielder for the matches against Faroe Islands and Hungary

Midfielder Danilo Pereira was called by Fernando Santos for the next two official matches the national Portuguese squad will be playing, against Faroe Islands and Hungary, for Group B of the European qualification zone to the 2018 World Cup.

The European champions will start by facing Faroe Islands, next Thursday (19h45), at Estádio do Bessa, for matchday seven, then moving to Hungary (Budapest), where they will play on September 3 (19h45), for matchday eight of Group B.

Also this Thursday, the Under21 national coach disclosed the list of players that will be representing Portugal in the match against Wales, in the debut for Group 8 for the qualification to the 2019 European Championship, hosted by Italy. There are four Dragons in the list: Diogo Costa, Jorge Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, and Luís Mata.

The match against the Wales is scheduled for September 5 and will be played at Estádio Municipal de Chaves. Apart from Portugal and Wales, Group 8 also includes Switzerland, Romania, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Lichtenstein.
