​​Three Dragons called to the Portuguese national team

José Sá, Ricardo Pereira, and Danilo were called for the friendlies against United States of America and Saudi Arabia

National coach Fernando Santos called three players from FC Porto for the friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and the United States. Goalkeeper José Sá, defender Ricardo Pereira and midfielder Danilo were the Dragons called to the matches to be played in Viseu and Leiria.

The first, against Saudi Arabia, is scheduled for November 10 (Friday) at 20h45, the same time as the match against the North-Americans, four days later (Tuesday, November 14).

Also on Friday, Rui Jorge disclosed his call-up for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers (Group Eight), and FC Porto will also be represented by three players.

Goalkeeper Diogo Costa and defenders Diogo Dalot and Jorge Fernandes will be going to Romania (November 10, 17h00, mainland Portugal), and facing Switzerland at home (November 14, 17h30), in Paços de Ferreira.
