“We want the three points to ensure the qualification”

Álvaro Morais did the preview of the home match against Follonica, for matchday four of the Euroleague (Saturday, 17h00)

The numbers are easy to see: a victory over Follonica allows FC Porto Fidelidade, the leader of Group B after three matchdays, to qualify, right away, to the quarter finals of the Euroleague. And the goal will be even closer, Álvaro Morais stated, if the team repeats the performance and the result achieved in Italy (7-1) last December.

“We were great, we managed to go in very strong and we want to do the same now, before our fans”, the forward explained, at the preview of Saturday's match at Dragão Caixa (17h00, Porto Canal), where the Dragons want to continue the good performance in last Saturday's away match against Oliveirense (3-1), for the National Championship.

With eyes on the quarter finals
“We had a good match in Oliveira de Azeméis. We really wanted that victory, as it was very important for us, and now we have to continue that in the Euroleague. We want to ensure the three points to qualify to the next stage. The most important thing is the victory, but if we achieve it with a massive result, even better.”

Repeat the performance in Follonica
“In Italy we played an excellent match, we managed to get in very strong and we want to do the same now, before our fans.”

Qualities of the opponent
“Follonica is a strong, cohesive team with a lot of solutions and we have to be prepared for that.”

Fans called
“It is always important to have our fans with us, and winning at home is always excellent. In the last match in Oliveira de Azeméis, they were there, and that helped us a lot and we are counting on them on Saturday.”
