Héctor Herrera couldn’t have asked for a better comeback after being banned for two matches, as he set the path for FC Porto's victory over Moreirense (2-1), in Moreira de Cónegos, which allowed them to qualify to the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup. The captain assured, however, that the most important thing is for the team to move forward in a competition they want to win as much as the other three in which they are fighting for since the start of the season.
Goal to celebrate the return
“After being banned for two matches, it's always important and beautiful to come back and help the team move to the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup. Still, the most important thing is that the team remains in this competition that we want to win so much.”
Advantage and relaxation
“I think that, after the 2-0, the team thought that maybe it would be a bit easier and we relaxed a lot. This can’t happen, because we know that any opponent, with a little advantage, with more room to play, without pressure, complicates our life. Fortunately, we can return home with the qualification to the semi-finals.”
“We are clear about our objectives, which are to win every competition we play for. Fortunately, we are fighting for all four competitions and we want to continue until the end, until we win.”
“It may have been a bit exaggerated, but I don’t want to question the referees, are they are already quite questioned, and try to do their job in the best possible way. I believe that, in my case, the referee was wrong, but it’s already over and, fortunately, I’m available again.”
