Three dragons named to the African Player of the Year Award

Brahimi, Aboubakar and Marega are in the list of 30 candidates. FC Porto is the club with the most players in the list


Yacine Brahimi, Vincent Aboubakar, and Moussa Marega are in the run for the Best African Player of the Year Award. The three forwards of FC Porto are in the list of 30 players in World football, which also counts on the likes of Eric Bailly (Manchester United), Keita Baldé (Monaco), Victor Moses (Chelsea), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Dortmund), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), among others. FC Porto is the most represented club among the nominees.

The winner will be determined by voting, with the participation of the coaches of all the national teams that are part of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), football and media experts. The award will be handed on January 4, in Ghana.
