This Saturday night, FC Porto and New Balance presented the collection for season 2016/17. Porto’s downtown again wore the blue and white, and the highlight of the evening was, once again, the runway with the players and the presentation of the new kits. “Models for one night”, Aboubakar, Rúben Neves, André Silva, Sérgio Oliveira, André André, Felipe and José Sá did the honours, with coach Nuno Espírito Santo watching closely the performance of his players.
Talking to Porto Canal and www.fcporto.pt, after his first official event as coach of the Dragons, Nuno Espírito Santo was happy to see the bond between the fans and the team, also praising the new blue and white kits: “I really enjoyed the runway. It was entertaining, and the kits are truly beautiful. It was a novelty for everyone, as we have been using with the training kits. I loved seeing the players in this context, but I hope no one changes profession and that everyone stays focused. It’s great to feel the fans like this; their support has been amazing and we can only be thankful. It is fundamental to have the fans and the team connected. We want to work to bring them joys, but, for that to happen, we need their support the entire season”, the coach stated.
