Herrera considered FC Porto to be better “in the whole match” against Benfica this Friday, for matchday 13 of Liga NOS. The tie at the end is explained by the fact that the Dragons didn’t score from the occasions they had and the Mexican also remembered a penalty should have been signalled to Luisão.
“We always know that these matches are complicated, intense, above all else, and today was no exception. Unfortunately, we couldn’t score and the referee didn’t see a penalty. We also had a great chance to score with Marega, but unfortunately we didn’t win. We were better in the entire match and we have to continue working as there is still a lot of championship to go.”
The lack of efficiency
“I feel that, unfortunately, we weren’t able to score. Maybe we could have been a little more patient in decisive moments and look for better situations to score.”
“We have to keep working as we did today. There is a lot of championship to go and we have to look ahead. We can reach our objective.”
