Otávio

Otávio did his entire professional career in Brazil, at Internacional de Porto Alegre (62 matches, seven goals), and is believed to be one of the biggest promises in Brazilian football. He was one of the stars of his old team in 2013, when the club from the South of Brazil went through a rough season and only prevented being relegated in the last fixture. He debuted against Santos, in the 2012 Brasileirão, only 17 years old, and already has in his resume two Campeonatos Gaúchos (a state league in Brazil), won in 2013 and 2014. A footballer that makes use of his technique and creativity, Otávio enjoys playing free in the support to the attack, going for either wing as he sees fit. He describes himself as “driven, with plenty of speed and dribbling ability” player. This flamboyant player, who was already called to the Under-21 Brazilian team, had difficulties that can only be considered normal when he arrived at FC Porto, in 2014, aged 19 years, moving to the B team, and then being loaned to Vitória de Guimarães in the second half of 2014/15 and in 2015/16, working under the command of Sérgio Conceição. In 2016, he returned to fight for his place.
