Otávio was in the starting team again in the match that had FC Porto tying 1-1 against Bayer Leverkusen, in the end of the pre-season tour. The Brazilian winger, who passed for André Silva to score the blue and white goal, praised the “good first-half” the team had, and feels everyone is improving match by match. He admitted, though, that “there are still things to improve”. Performance “Pleased, not just with my performance, but also with the one the team had. We played well, we did what the coach asked of us and I feel we had a good first-half. Unfortunately, we didn’t win, but we are trying to improve match by match, as the coach asks us to do. There are still things to improve, but, when the championship starts, we will be much better.” Style of play “It’s important to score first. That’s our style of play, always to try to score one, two, three goals.” Future “I hope to stay in the squad. I fought hard to be here, I feel I had a good season in Vitória de Guimarães, and now I’m here trying to find my space in the team. I hope to get it.”
