Midfielder scored in the 1-1 tie, in Braga, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup

FC Porto tied 1-1 at the home of Sporting de Braga for the second leg of the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup, which, added to the 3-0 advantage achieved at Estádio do Dragão in the first leg, allowed the blue and whites to qualify to the 30th final in the history of the club in the competition. The scorer of the goal for the Dragons, Danilo, talked of a “mission accomplished”.

Difficult match
“It was a hard match. We knew Braga was focused on this and wanted to turn the disadvantage around. Braga had a lot of ball possession in the first-half and created many difficulties.”

Mission accomplished
“The changes can’t justify what we did tonight. Everyone knows what the coach wants. We failed to do that tonight, but the main goal was achieved.”

Sporting or Benfica in the final?
“I don’t have a preference. These are difficult matches. Both opponents are complicated.”
