The second-half started with referee Nuno Almeida not showing Pedro Porro his second yellow and a red card, as he grabbed Otávio ostentatiously when the latter was preparing to start a counterattack (49m). Even without great opportunities worth mentioning in either goal, the Dragons reached the tie in all fairness and materialized the superiority shown in the second-half: Luis Díaz received a great pass from Tecatito Corona and dribbled the opposing defence before beating Adán with a great shot already inside the area (71m).

The Colombian international’s goal boosted the blue and white momentum, but the scoreboard would remain unchanged. Before referee Nuno Almeida signalled the end, Toni Martínez was shown two yellow cards in two minutes and left FC Porto outnumbered (87m).
