Dragon Force builds teams and players to play FC Porto style. Based on an innovative methodology that values high level football, the whole process is marked by an unparalleled rich model and operationalized by coaches identified with this way of seeing the game.

The ability to interpret the game to make better decisions is the basis of the tactical-technical development that we preach. This is our priority!
In the ROOTS age group, that groups children Under-4, we want that our students are able to identify different way to progress to the goal, wheather in pass, dribble, shoot or guiding. We aim to develop technical aspects such as ball handling, simulations with and without the ball, ball protections, passing, reception and shooting. The training shows concerns in improving our students motor skills, and also different ways to move, along different axis, jumps, balances, rotations, falls and laterality. As to the understanding of the game funcionalities, we want to transmit the the basic rules like pitch boundaries, ball repositions, game ways and limits to the physical contact.
At the U7 level, which includes U5 and U6 children, the type of match that we privilege goes from 1x1 to 3x3. The ability to use the game space in a balanced way within these numerical ratios is one of the main goals. In this stage, concepts such as knowing how to move away from the ball, read the different spaces of play or the creation of passing lines are structuring concepts of everything that will come next.
With regard to the U9 level, which includes sub-7 and sub-8 children, numerical ratios range from 3x3 to 5x5 depending on the level of the team. In addition to the concerns mentioned for U7, here we also introduce the concept of positional interchange and adjustment which makes the game grow in its complexity.
In terms of U11 (U10 and U9), the type of match range from 5x5 to 7x7. This causes the substantial increment in the complexity associated to the game. Therefore we begin to divide each moment of the game into different sub-moments and to treat each one with tactical-technical concerns very focused on a style in which the obsession to control the game with the ball implies the definition of tactical priorities such as: big field, attracting opponents with and without ball, search for interior spaces, alternation between supporting and breaking movements...
In the U13 (U12 and U11) and U15 (U14 and U13) levels, the focus is to consolidate and develop everything that has been introduced in the previous years, with the introduction of more complex concepts such as the collective balances in each of the game moments. The evolution of the type of match goes from 7x7 to 11x11.
At all the levels, the technical content is always worked due to a coherent game idea from day one.
From receptions of ball and passes with different parts of the body in the U7, passing to the reception oriented in U9, evolving to the ability to protect the ball in U11, integrating shots with different trajectories in the older echelons.
The technical component has an evolution based on an increasingly rich and complex way of play.
