Dominik Prpić

Born in May 2004 in the Croatian capital, Dominik Prpić started out at NK Zagreb and also had a spell at NK Lokomotiva before heading to the Adriatic coast. In Split since 2017, when he was still playing for the under-15s, he rose through the ranks and made his debut for Hajduk's first team at just 17 years of age. In between, he was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2022/23 UEFA Youth League. Since then, he played 50 games for the senior team, won the Croatian Cup in 2023, spent the first half of the following season on loan at Slovenian side NK Radomlje and earned the trust of Gennaro Gattuso, who started him in 30 of the 36 games played in 2024/25 - he missed four due to injury and two due to accumulated cards. Nine times international for Croatia's U18, U19 and U21 teams, the 1.88-metre centre-back moved to Porto in July 2025 to wear the blue and white number 21.
