Draw was held this Saturday, at Correggio, Italy

FC Porto will be facing AW Lodi (Italy), Reus Deportiu (Spain) and SCRA Saint-Omer (France), in Group C of the EuroLeague, in roller hockey. The draw of the group stage of the competition was held this Saturday morning, in Correggio, Italy.

The Dragons face their first match in Group C at home, against SCRA Saint-Omer (20/10/2018), and end the group stage at home as well, against Reus Deportiu (09/03/2019). In between, they travel to face Reus Deportiu (17/11/2018), AW Lodi (19/01/2019) and SCRA Saint-Omer (16/02/2019), facing AW Lodi at home for matchday three (01/12/2018).

In the quarter-finals, the first two teams of Group C will face the first two teams of Group B, which counts on Sporting CP (Portugal), HC Liceo (Spain), HC Forte dei Marmi (Italy) and SKG Herringen (Germany).

The 16 teams in competition were distributed in 4 groups. The first two teams of each group will qualify to the quarter-finals, with a Final Four following on May 11 and 12, 2019.

Last season, Dragão Caixa was the stage of the Final Four of the EuroLeague. FC Porto reached the final of the competition, but lost the decisive match against Barcelona.

The European season in roller hockey starts with the Continental Cup, which will be held in Barcelos, on September 29 and 30. The finalists of the last editions of the EuroLeague and the CERS Cup face each other for the trophy. Thus, in the semi-finals, FC Porto (defeated finalist of the EuroLeague) will face CE Lleida (winner of the CERS Cup) and Óquei de Barcelos (defeated finalist of the CERS Cup) will face FC Barcelona (winner of the EuroLeague).
