Blue and white captain scored the first goal in the victory over Moreirense (3-0), for matchday 4 of the League
Having scored the first goal in the home match against Moreirense (3-0), 15 minutes in, Héctor Herrera was named MVP of matchday 4 of the League. The blue and white captain praised the way the team got up after losing in the previous matchday, against Vitória de Guimarães, and was happy to have contributed with a goal in an important victory, before the championship stops.
Good response
“The group was aware of last match, and it was important to react and give a good response, with good football and a positive result. At home, we need to be strong, as we were last year, and it needs to happen this year as well. The team reacted well, we leave with the victory, but, of course, there are things to improve. We need to work on that in this break.”
Team is more mature
“We always think of improving for the future. We had two matches where we were winning and allowed for the opponent to recover, but that didn’t happen tonight. The team must be more mature in that regard.”
The talks in the second-half
“When you feel that something is not right or that you can do a little more, it is important to talk. Communication is very important in this team. We had an opportunity to talk and we corrected some things.”
The goal
“It’s always important to score, but, to me, it’s even more important that the team wins. I am happy to have helped the team with another goal, that led to the victory.”
