Dragons face Tottenham away for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Youth League (Tuesday, 15h00)

The FC Porto Under19 team will focus on the UEFA Youth League again, where they will face Tottenham for the quarter-finals. The blue and whites play this Tuesday (15h00, SportTV1), at the home of the team from London, and coach João Brandão and midfielder Paulo Estrela admitted they are anxious, but ambitious to move on in the competition.

João Brandão
“The team is feeling well and anxious, in a positive way, about the match. These are the matches the players enjoy the most. This is a competition we enjoy and a victory may give FC Porto something that we never got, making it to the semi-finals. We are tremendously eager to win and play a good match. We are facing a strong team, obviously, but, at this stage of the competition, every team has quality. I believe it will be an interesting match to watch. The first step to overcome obstacles is how you prepare for them.”

Paulo Estrela
“The team is eager for the match to start. We know it will be complicated, but we are prepared. We trust our work and our quality to win. Tottenham is a strong team, but we need to focus on ourselves and on what we have to do. Our strategy is what matters the most. We want the match to come quickly so we can show our value. We will be the same team we have been so far and we want to keep our identity.”
