Chancel Mbemba is in the call-up disclosed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo for the home match against Zimbabwe, scheduled for October 13, at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte, in the Congo capital, Kinshasa. 

The FC Porto defender is among the players called for matchday 3 of Group G of the qualification stage to the 2019 Cup of African Nations (CAN). The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zimbabw, both with four points, are in the lead of the group.
