The Under19 team of FC Porto thied this Tuesday against Galatasaray (2-2), at Olival, for matchday 2 of Group D of the UEFA Youth League ended João Mário (63m) and Fábio Silva (80m) scored the goals for the Dragons, who now split the lead of the group with Lokomotiv Moscow, both with four points.

FC Porto took control of the match from the start, but the lack of efficiency when shooting for goal didn’t let the Dragons take the lead before halftime, which would have been natural given all the opportunities wasted in the first-half.

The blue and white supremacy was even more obvious in the second-half, and João Mário finally opened the score for the Dragons (63m), but then Recep Gül tied it again (71m). Fábio Silva, with a fantastic finishing, made it 2-1 (80m), but the opponent would tie in the last play of the match, by Atalay Babacan (90+5m).

For matchday 3 of Group D of the UEFA Youth League, FC Porto travels to Moscow, to face Lokomotiv. The match is scheduled for October 24 (Wednesday), at 14h00.
