Danilo Pereira is in the call-up disclosed by national coach Fernando Santos for the matches against Italy and Poland for the Nations League. The FC Porto midfielder is at 29 caps and scored one goal for Portugal.

The match against Italy is scheduled for November 17, in Milan, whereas the match against Poland will be held in Guimarães, on November 20. Both matches are scheduled for 19h45, mainland Portugal time.

After the call-up for the main squad was revealed, it was time to know who Rui Jorge had called for the two matches the Under21 will be playing against Poland, in the qualification to the 2019 European Championship. There are four young Dragons in the list: Diogo Costa, Fernando Fonseca, Diogo Leite and Bruno Costa.

Also Dragons João Mário, Romário Baró and Vítor Ferreira were called to the Under19 national squad, which will be playing in the UEFA Under19 Championship.
