Rilski Sportist won in Dragão Caixa (91-79), in the last matchday of Group F
This Wednesday, FC Porto lost to Rilski Sportist, from Bulgaria (91-79), at Dragão Caixa, for matchday 6, the last one, of Group F of the FIBA Europa Cup. The blue and whites ended the competition in the fourth place, with seven points.
The good start of the team led by Moncho López was shown on the scoreboard after the first ten minutes: 19-11 for FC Porto, who watched as Rilski Sportist reacted in strength for the second period, reducing the difference to only one point before the break (41-40). The situation didn’t improve after the break and the opponent moved ahead in the third period (68-60), finally confirming the victory in the last ten minutes (91-79).
FC Porto will play again next Saturday (November 24), again at Dragão Caixa, against Illiabum. Matchday 8 of the first stage of the Portuguese Basketball League starts at 18h00, and will be broadcasted live on Porto Canal.
