Estádio do Dragão will be the stage of the match opposing Brazil and Panama, scheduled for March 23 (Saturday), at 17h00, mainland Portugal time. The friendly will be the first for the Brazilian team in 2019, and will help in the preparation for Copa America, played in June.

Tickets are already available, both at the FC Porto Portal, and at the Member Stores at Estádio do Dragão and FC Porto Stores (Arrábida Shopping, Baixa, NorteShopping, Off Season FC Porto Vila do Conde and Quiosque FC Porto S. Bento). Accesses with hospitality must be handled through the e-mail address [email protected]. 

Anthony Boch, Director of Football Events and Services of Pitch International, the body responsible for the organization of the match, revealed how pleased he is in the agreement reached so that the friendly is played in Porto.

“We are delighted that we were able to, in cooperation with CBF and FC Porto, bring the national team of Brazil to the amazing Estádio do Dragão, for the first time, for this friendly against Panama”, the director stated.

Pedro Albuquerque, Head of FC Porto International, also praised the importance of the deal: “For us, FC Porto, this is fantastic. This is another event that aims at an international focus for Estádio do Dragão, which, as is known, will also host the final of the Nations League and the European Supercup. This choice reinforces the stadium as one of the best in the world.”

This will be the first match of the Brazilian national squad in over 15 years. The last one was also at Porto: on March 29, 2003, Estádio das Antas was the stage of the match Portugal-Brazil, which had the debut of Deco for the Portuguese national squad.
