Forward scored twice in the blue and white victory over Sporting de Braga
Tiquinho Soares scored twice in the FC Porto victory over Sporting de Braga, 3-2, for matchday 27 of the Portuguese League. The Brazilian forward continues to show an appetite to score against the team from Minho and was decisive for the blue and white victory.
Happy for the goals and the three points
“This is FC Porto, this is the spirit. I want to congratulate the team for the great match we played today. Falling behind on the scoreboard against a team as good as Sporting de Braga isn’t easy, but the spirit and the capacity to suffer paid off. I’m happy for the goals and for the three points.”
Bad start in both halves
“We can’t allow for starts similar to the ones we had. We conceded a goal right at the start of the first-half, recovered, and then conceded another one at the start of the second-half. It was hard, but we were fortunate enough to leave with the three points.”
Thank you to the fans and dedication to Alex Telles
“I am happy to have scored the penalty. I also want to thank our fans, who showed up in Braga and supported us from start to end. I went to celebrate with Alex Telles because he left with an injury, and he deserves all the best and the goal was dedicated to him.”
Step by step towards the objective
“We’re going step by step, towards our objective. It’s always good to score goals. I always put my determination on the pitch to help the team, and I hope to continue like that until the end of the championship.”
