The main squad of FC Porto is back starting this Monday and Jesús Corona talked to Porto Canal about the expectations for the blue and white team for season 2019/20. The Mexican international will start his fifth season at FC Porto. After the morning training, Jesús Corona and the rest of the squad went to Clínica do Dragão in the afternoon, for the medical check-up.

How do you feel in this return to work?
“After enjoying my vacations in Mexico, with my family, I am pleased to return to work and to start this effort to reach our objectives.”

Are you prepared for a demanding pre-season?
“We need to be aware that it will be an extra effort, we have to give a little more to get to what’s coming in good shape.”

Are you expecting to be at a good level at the start of August?
“We need to remain focused, rest well and make a good preparation to be at our best when the time comes.”

How are you looking at the fight for the title?
“What we want is clear. We want what is ours and we need to work hard to get it.”

Do you believe you can have a better season than the last one?
“I hope so, I’m aiming at getting better number than last year. That’s what I’m going to try to do and that’s what everyone has to do to contribute to the team.”
