Cape Verdean international forward is a reinforcement at FC Porto and will wear the number 20

Zé Luís reinforces FC Porto and signed for four seasons, until 2023. The Cape Verdean international forward, 28 years old, played for Spartak Moscow, from Russia, in the last four seasons.

Zé Luís’ career started in Batuque, in Cape Verde, later moving to Gil Vicente. Sporting de Braga signed him and then loaned him again to Gil Vicente (2011/12) and then to Videoton, from Hungary (2013/14), finally finding his space in Braga after that.

In 2014/15, Zé Luís was a sure bet for Sérgio Conceição, a coach he now meets again as he will be playing for FC Porto. On that season, he scored 11 goals for Sporting de Braga, numbers that made him leave for Spartak Moscow.

Zé Luís has already won four trophies: in Portugal, he won a League Cup, again FC Porto, and became champion in the Second League; in Russia, the forward became champion and won a Supercup.
