Iván Marcano returns to FC Porto and signed for four seasons, until 2023. The Spanish central defender, 32 years old, played for Roma last season, and will wear the blue and white again: he did it for four years, between 2014 and 2018.

Iván Marcano arrived at FC Porto in the summer of 2014, coming from the Russian team Rubin Kazan. The numbers of the Spanish defender as a Dragon show his regularity: 32 matches (0 goals) in 2014/15, 33 matches (2 goals) in 2015/16, 46 matches (5 goals) in 2016/17 and 45 matches (7 goals) in 2017/18.

On his last season as an FC Porto player, Marcano was one of the references of the blue and white defence and became national champion. On this return to Estádio do Dragão, the Spanish central defender will wear the number 5 again.
