Argentinian international goalkeeper, 31, reinforces the choices of FC Porto and will take the number 32

Agustín Marchesín reinforces FC Porto and signed for four seasons, until 2023. The goalkeeper, international for Argentina, 31 years old, played for Club América since January 2017, when he left Santos Laguna. Before that, he played in Argentina, playing for Lanús for six and a half years.

Agustín Federico Marchesín, born on March 16, 1988, in San Cayetano, Argentina, started playing football at the Huracán de Tres Arroyos, later signing for Lanús, in 2007, but only took the leading role in front of goal in season 2009/10. For Lanús, Marchesín won a South American Cup, a competition with the same reputation as the Europa League.

Transferred to Mexico at the start of 2015, Marchesín signed for Santos Laguna and, shortly after, became Mexican champion. In 2017, he moved from Santos Laguna to Club América, and, in the previous season, won the Mexican title again, adding to that the Mexican Cup. He also won two Mexican Supercups (for Santos Laguna, in 2015, and for Club América, in 2019).

“Marche”, the name he will wear on his jersey, is up to four caps for Argentina, and will be debuting in Europe. At FC Porto, he will wear the number 32.
