Blue and white goalkeeper believes the Dragons deserved a different result in Rotterdam, against Feyernoord (2-0).

Just like Sérgio Conceição, Marchesín also believes the defeat against Feyenoord (2-0), for matchday two of Group G of Europa League, was unfair. The Argentinian international goalkeeper regretted the many opportunities wasted by the blue and white team throughout the match.

An unfortunate outcome
“More than the goals conceded, I feel the defeat is unfair for the opportunities we created. We always tried to play, we showed more initiative, and they did very little to get this result.”

The wasted opportunities
“More than the result, we feel that we played a good match, but, unfortunately, we didn’t score from the opportunities we created. We were distracted in some moments and we paid for it. This is a difficult stadium, Feyenoord respected us. You win with goals, but the result isn’t fair.”

Rangers at Estádio do Dragão
“Rangers plays well, it will be complicated, but we will have to show our strength at our fortress. It will be important to get three points. We have to win titles with this shirt, any other result is a disappointment. We will give everything we have, we are lucky to wear this shirt and we have to be thankful for that.”
