Alex Telles preferred to talk of the effort of the team after the victory at Estádio do Bessa (1-0), for matchday 11 of Liga NOS

FC Porto reached the ninth victory in the current edition of Liga NOS at Estádio do Bessa, after beating Boavista, 1-0, for matchday 11. Alex Telles, scorer of the goal that won the match for the blue and whites, praised the performance of the team and made it clear that the group led by Sérgio Conceição is united.

Decisive goal
“My goal was just a detail in what the entire team did. We had a rough week, but we always focused on work. The entire staff works to help FC Porto win. The dedication is complete and we fought hard on a difficult stadium tonight. It was a derby, it was intense, and we proved we are strong. Congratulations to the team.”

Union in the group
“Many people outside the group want to break us, but we remain united. We deserve to celebrate this great victory after a hard week.”

The group is what matters the most
“Ever since I got here, I’ve been saying I want to leave a legacy behind. As any human being, I’ve felt tired, but, as I said to the coach, with whom I have a fantastic relation, I am here to help FC Porto and give my best for the team. Manafá, for example, has played in my spot and did a good job. The team is what matters the most.”
