Despite the tie against Belenenses (1-1), in Jamor, for matchday 13 of Liga NOS, Danilo is optimistic
The away match in Estádio do Jamor, against Belenenses, for matchday 13 of Liga NOS, ended in a 1-1 tie, but Danilo proved to be optimistic. The blue and white midfielder was frustrated at the end of the match, but reminded that there are many more points to fight for until the end of the championship, making it clear that the team will keep fighting.
Frustration
“It’s always frustrating to end a match like this. We knew it was a difficult match, on a difficult pitch. The first-half was good, even though we conceded the goal, which was preceded by a hand on the ball in the midfield. In the second-half, we created more opportunities, but we failed to score.”
There is a lot to go until the end
“There is still a lot to play for. We have a lot to fight for, it will be until the last drop and we will move on.”
Message in the “circle”
“We have to motivate our players. The championship has a lot to go. We are four points behind now, but we might be in the lead in a few matches. We have to work every week and the results will come up.”
