Otávio regretted the outcome of the home match against Rio Ave (1-1), but reminded that FC Porto remains in the lead
After tying against Rio Ave (1-1), at Estádio do Dragão, for matchday 24 of the championship, FC Porto lost the opportunity to increase the lead over Benfica, but remains in the lead of the competition, with 60 points, one more than the team from Lisbon. After the match against the team from Vila do Conde, Otávio assured that the group is only looking at what they do and that they “have to raise their heads” for what’s left to play.
Everything for the victory
“I think we did everything we could, we applied high pressure, but, on their first shot, they scored. We have to raise our head, as we are still in the lead and there is still a long way to go.”
The opponent and the matches at home
“Rio Ave has a great team and I think they played well, but we have to be stronger at home and get the three points.”
The group is focused on themselves
“We don’t look at what others do we only look at ourselves. At home, we have to show our strength, we are one point ahead, but there is still a lot of championship to go.”
One point that could have been three
“We are in the lead. We could have increased our advantage, but it happens.”
