Tecatito Corona believes FC Porto deserved a bigger victory in Faro (1-0)
A goal by Mehdi Taremi gave FC Porto the victory against Farense (1-0), at Estádio of São Luís, in Faro, for matchday 15 of the League. After the match, Tecatito Corona assured that the national champions leave Algarve “feeling well”, but the victory should have been by bigger numbers, as the Dragons created “clear situations to score three or four more goals”. Even so, the excellent performance of a team that was “intense, aggressive, solid and compact” remained. “Today, we were worthy of FC Porto and we won with all fairness”, the Mexican star added.
1-0 victory was too short
“We’re going home feeling well. The team applied what we worked on during the week, but we should have scored more goals, because we created clear situations to score three or four more goals. The team is doing very well and we will continue to improve and get stronger.”
Intensity and solidity
“I think we were an intense, aggressive, solid and compact team. Today we were worthy of FC Porto and we won in all fairness.”
MVP Liga Portugal
“It gives me more strength to keep working and do things right to help the team.”
