The newest edition of the official FC Porto magazine is now available. With an interview to Mehdi Taremi taking the cover, the magazine Dragões lets you get to know the Iranian forward in his own words. First hand, the new number 9 of the Dragons admits that playing for FC Porto was a “dream”, which made him turn down offers from the rivals from Lisbon.
“I chose FC Porto because it’s a strong family and more famous than Benfica in Iran”, the blue and white forward revealed, adding that he believes he is in a “world class” club that has everything: “Good coach, good players, good staff, good medical staff... Everything in the club is great”. “We are a family and we are close, and that is important”, Taremi continued, before concluding: “That’s what we need to become champions”.
Issue number 411 of Dragões does the preview of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, which will be played over the next weeks. “11 chapters of history in stripes” remembers what unites and separates FC Porto and Juventus, from Basel, in 1984, to Turin, in 2017, from Rui Barros to Danilo and Alex Sandro.

Ricardo, Martim and Francisco share the sport in their blood and talked to the official FC Porto magazine about how the legacy was passed from father to sons and how two brothers share the locker room in one of the top European teams.
Lastly, the February edition of Dragões recovers the class given by Professor José Neto about José Maria Pedroto. Last month, the former coach was at the FC Porto Museum to relive the legend of the Master and to offer some information on the iconic blue and white player and coach, who passed away 36 years ago.
