Over 300 participants and 120 hours of training sessions

FC Porto will develop a World Camp in Montreal, Canada. For three weeks, from the 17th of July to the 4th of August, two FC Porto coaches will be present in Montreal, to provide training sessions with the FC Porto methodology and share the club’s values.

This initiative, which will feature over 300 participants and 120 hours of training sessions, will be the perfect moment for Canadians players develop their skills.

Last February, Dragon Force project received three teams from Canada. The players of the “Association de Soccer de Brossard” had the opportunity to experience the international Youth Football Tour activity, developing their skills according to the FC Porto training methodology. They also had the opportunity to visit Estádio do Dragão and the FC Porto Museum, play friendly matches and watch an FC Porto 1st team match.

After the success of this initiative, it is time to carry out new activities, this time taking FC Porto to Canada.

AS Brossard's Technical Director, Rogerio Crespo, states that “this project was born in a conversation with the late Fernando Gomes. Bringing FC Porto World Camp to Canada will be a great opportunity to AS Brossard players, and from other clubs in Montreal, to know the training methodology of a club that is a reference in Europe”.

Before the start of the event, technical training will be held, developed by the FC Porto Football Sciences Institute, whose target audience will be AS Brossard coaches.
