June 2023: New Balance FC Porto Competition

 

 

1. The New Balance, FC Porto promotion (the Competition) is open to all entrants aged 12 and over, except for employees (and their immediate families) of New Balance or any group companies (New Balance) or any freelance contractors, or anyone else otherwise connected with New Balance. 

 
2. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any reference to entrant or winner shall mean the fan chosen as a winner by New Balance. 

 
3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. There is one prize which will be won by one person: the prize is for 1 (one) New Balance, signed FC Porto home shirt, subject to Competition conditions 9 and 10 below. 

 

4. Entries must be submitted on Instagram (i) by following both @newbalancefootball and @fcporto and (ii) by replying by way of comment to the competition post between 19th June 2023 and 26th June 2023.

 

All entrants who meet this criterion will be entered into a random prize draw where 2 winners will be randomly selected to win the prizes above (one prize to each winner). Only one entry per entrant is permitted. Entries received outside of the stipulated time period will not be accepted.  

 

5. New Balance accepts no responsibility for entries which are delayed, invalid or not received for any reason. 

 

6. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Entrants are responsible for any costs (if any) in relation to a Competition entry. 

 
7. The draw will take place on Monday 18th June 2023 by 3pm BST. The winner will be notified via the @newbalancefootball social media channel (as stated in rule 4) on or within 7 working days after the Draw Date.  
 
8. If the winner does not respond within the required time period (14 days), then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and New Balance will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process above.  
 
9. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The prize is subject to availability. New Balance reserves the right at all times to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is for any reason not available. 

 
10. The decision of New Balance regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.  

 
11. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. New Balance reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 

 
12. New Balance reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. 

 
13. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the Competition which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.  

 
14. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment and delivery of the football shirt or tickets. By entering into the Competition, entrants consent to their name appearing on the @NewBalanceFootball Facebook, twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, TikTok feeds and related media content. 

 
15. By entering into the Competition, entrants warrant that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. New Balance reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.  

 
16. Subject to Competition condition 17 below, New Balance accept no responsibility or liability and shall not be responsible or liable for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by any entrants as a result of entering the Competition or winning, accepting or using any prize. New Balance further disclaim any liability for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person's computer, tablet or mobile device relating to or arising from any participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. The maximum liability of New Balance in relation to the Competition shall be to deliver the notified prizes to winners of the Competition. 

 

17. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of New Balance for any death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation suffered as a result of negligence on the part of New Balance. 

 
18. New Balance shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where such failure is caused by something outside of New Balance’s reasonable control including, but without limitation, any inclement weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, act of terrorism, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion or any government legislation. 

 
19. New Balance reserves the right at any time to modify, amend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside of the control of New Balance. 

 

 

20. The Competition will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
