Partnership aims to approach and diversify the FC Porto brand in the U.S.
FC Porto established a partnership with 1863 FC, which is dedicated to promoting soccer in the United States, through textile products that combine the passion for clubs and the game, to style and comfort.
The product offer will be focused on non-athletic wear, and soon the proposals that will be available at 1863 FC will be made known.
This partnership makes FC Porto the first Portuguese club on the platform, joining other top European soccer clubs such as Manchester City, Barcelona, Tottenham and Atlético Madrid, among others.
Besides bringing closer and diversifying the FC Porto brand in the American territory, being present in the North American market, also allows the strengthening of ties with the strong Portuguese community in the United States and, as well as with Portuguese-American descendants.
1863 FC will explore e-commerce and establish partnerships with some of the major distributors in the North American sports and retail scene. Their products are primarily vintage in style, to capture the spirit and history of the clubs themselves. After all, the very name of the platform comes from the year The Football Association was founded, which contributed in a decisive way to the institutionalization of the sport.
This partnership was made possible due to FC Porto’s presence at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.
