The Futebol Clube do Porto Museum and the Dragão Stadium are Best Landmarks in Portugal 2023, a Tiqets Remarkable Venue Award. The honour is the result of visitors’ evaluations shared on the Tiqets online platform and renews the presence of the Tour FC Porto (Museum + Stadium) experience on the international round of the awards. 

Winners of Portugal’s and Global Best Attraction Award in 2022, the FC Porto Museum and the Dragão Stadium surpassed the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Parque e Palácio Nacional da Pena and the Castelo dos Mouros this year in the Portugal’s Best Landmark category. A new format has been adopted for the Remarkable Venue Award in 2023.

The race for international honours will follow and the public will once again play a decisive role. Online voting is already underway on the Tiqets platform and ends on 3 October, with the FC Porto Museum and the Dragão Stadium in a list alongside attractions such as Windsor Castle (UK), Willis Tower (USA), Burj Al Arab (UAE), Gaudi's El Capricho (Spain), Chateau de Villandry (France), Museum Our Lord in the Attic (Netherlands) and Catacombs of San Gennaro (Italy).

In the year of the FC Porto Museum 10th anniversary (28 September, day of the club's 130th anniversary) and the Dragão Stadium 20th anniversary (16 November), the Best Landmark in Portugal award also reinforces the position of the FC Porto brand in the tourism sector. In fact, in 2023, the Tour FC Porto experience will be the only international representative of sports tourism in the Global Winners stage of the Remarkable Venue Awards. In other categories, Spiritus Lightshow at Clérigos (Porto), Museu do Azulejo (Lisbon), Zoomarine (Algarve), A Casa do Fado (Porto), Casa da Guitarra (Porto) and Quake - Centro do Terramoto (Lisbon) will also represent the country in the world’s race.
