After beating Shakhtar Donetsk (5-3), at Estádio do Dragão, on Wednesday, for matchday 6 of Group H, FC Porto qualified to the Round of 16 of the Champions League and earned a spot among the 16 best teams in Europe. With two goals and an assist, Galeno was "very happy" to have repeated the performance of the first leg, while Francisco Conceição, who made his debut scoring in blue and white in the Champions League a few seconds after going in, admitted it’s "always good" to hear the fans chanting his name and promised to "continue to help the team as much as he can". Stephen Eustáquio, on his turn, believes the Dragons won the match because they were “looking to win it.”

We knew it would be hard, but I feel like we won this game because we were looking to win it. We had our difficulties, we ended up suffering, but we showed that we are a mentally strong team and that we can always react. I do what I have to do and I'm a player who always puts the team first.”

The team deserves this qualification to the Round of 16. Whoever we have to face, we will look at them as equals.
