João Mário, Francisco Conceição and Otavio analysed the 2-0 victory against Estrela da Amadora

A few moments after winning the match for the championship, against Estrela da Amadora (2-0), João Mário, scorer of the second goal of the night, was happy that the team gave "a positive response after the last game", acknowledged that "it is difficult, but not impossible", but assured that the players "will keep believing" and "fight until it is no possible to win". The objective is clear: “win every game and reach the first place”. Francisco Conceição analysed a victory that was deserved "also in other games" and in which the team was "comfortable", before noting that they need to "continue to work" because "a very important game is coming up on Wednesday, for the Round of 16 of the Champions League". Otavio, debuting in blue and white, said he felt “more and more confident” and talked about Pepe, his partner in the defence this Saturday night, as an idol: “Since I arrived, Pepe has helped me a lot. He is an idol for me and at FC Porto as well. I see myself in him for the determination he has. He has been giving me advices that help me a lot. ”

João Mário
“It was very important to give a positive response after the last game and return to the victories in front of our fans. We created a lot of opportunities to get the three points, we won and we are very happy about it. We know it's hard, but not impossible. We will keep believing and fight until it is no possible to win. We will continue to work with the objective of winning every game and reaching the first place. I always work to be one more to help. Sometimes it's not possible, today was a happy day for me and for the whole team, which is the most important thing. We know it [the game against Arsenal] will be a demanding challenge, they are a giant in Europe, and all opponents in the Champions League are difficult, but we will play in front of our incredible fans and we will count on their support to achieve victory.

Francisco Conceição
“A victory that we deserved also in other games, but failed to reach it. We started the match well, we managed to reach the lead and then scored the second goal, it was a fair victory for our team. We know that the teams always play in a very low block when they face us and try to postpone the first goal. I felt well, as did the entire team, I saw that the team was comfortable. Now we have to keep working because we have a very important game on Wednesday for the Round of 16 of the Champions League.”

Otavio
“I felt well in the game. The group welcomed me well, passed me the ideas for the game and kept me focused so that I could help the team in my debut. We controlled possession, we managed to get out of their pressure, the group gave me a lot of confidence and with each passing day I feel more confident here. At the start of the game, I went in and looked at the fans with happiness, a bit more anxious, but after a while I got used to everything, and everyone reassured me. Since I arrived, Pepe has helped me a lot. He is an idol for me and at FC Porto as well. I see myself in him for the determination he has. He's been giving me advices that help me a lot.”
