Aimed at young players between the ages of 7 and 18

The FC Porto Dragon Force project continues to expand its horizons beyond borders, taking the FC Porto experience and training methodology to Johannesburg. Between 1 and 5 July, two FC Porto coaches will hold an FC Porto World Camp in partnership with Sim Tours, providing a unique opportunity for young local players to develop their technical and tactical skills.

Aimed at young players between the ages of 7 and 18, this event is not only to improve the individual performance of the participants, but also to pass on the FC Porto values and culture.

In addition, in order to provide a moment to strengthen skills for local coaches, there will be the  a theoretical lecture provided by the FC Porto Football Sciences Institute.

Rasthoem Simons, head of Sim Tours, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting this innovative initiative. "Our aim at Sim Tours is to bridge the gap so that young Africans can learn from some of the most successful clubs in the world." He added: "Camp with FC Porto is our first activity with a Portuguese club and we are delighted to be hosting it in Johannesburg, home to a large community of FC Porto fans. We're sure the participants will get a lot out of this 5-day opportunity with FC Porto's coaching staff and, as always, Sim Tours will enhance the overall experience."

For football enthusiasts in Johannesburg, the FC Porto World Camp represents not only an opportunity to learn and grow in the sport, but also an exciting time to connect with one of the most respected football clubs in the world. With an ongoing commitment to providing enriching experiences, it is hoped that this event will leave an indelible mark on young players and the local community, inspiring future generations of football talent across Africa.
